We are one of the largest student recruiters in Latin America’s countries, and with good reason:
Flexible Schedules
Since our sales reps are independent contractors, your work schedule is entirely up to you. Whether you want to schedule five appointments in one day or just a couple in one week – it’s your choice.
Many of our sales reps work part-time during the school year and full-time during the summer or winter break, but whenever you’re able to work, we’ll provide you with the training and support you need to successfully sell solar.
Not a student? No worries! Some of our reps are just looking for an opportunity to make up for a lack of hours at another job.
Professional Training
New sales representatives participate in a two or three-day training session at their local office. While training is unpaid, most participants consider it to be a worthwhile experience and productive use of their time. Basically, it’ll teach you how to sell Solar. Our experienced managers will show you things like business strategies, demonstration techniques, and what you can look forward to as a Solarex sales rep.
Don’t worry about prior experience – whether you’re a sales pro or you’re just starting your first job, we’ll teach you everything you need to know!
We value learning. One of the ways we encourage our reps to build upon their Solarex skills is to make the most of our year-round training resources. You’ll have an opportunity to participate in team meetings, attend regional conferences, and regularly meet with your local manager.
Solarex Scholarships
Every year, we give away a total of $50,000 to full-time undergraduate students who excel at selling Solarex. In the fall and spring, the top 25 students qualify, and during the summer it’s awarded to the top 50.
Don’t worry, no essay is required. But, it takes a ton of hard work and persistence to earn this.

What kind of work is this?
Everyone starts at the Latino Help Latino program powered by Solarex as an entry-level sales representative. Our reps schedule appointments and introduce prospective customers to Solar through one-on-one demonstrations. This can happen in a customer’s home or online with a customer. This has been pretty effective for us – over 10 million customers’ homes are qualified to install Solar on the top of their roofs.
A sales rep’s day includes:
Learn more about who we are and what we do.
Are there any start-up costs?
Nope. Most of our reps work virtually. They simply use their laptop or computer and the internet to walk through product options with customers online.
How am I paid?
Our reps earn commissions for sales made. We also offer a guaranteed base pay per qualified appointment. This means you’re guaranteed to earn something for each qualified appointment completed, whether or not you sell anything.
How do I get appointments?
You get started by showing Solarex to people you know to get some good practice. This allows you to become comfortable with the process and make mistakes without worrying about it. In training, we teach you how to ask those people for “customers", others who might be interested in taking a look at Solar. This effective friends of “friends" process ensure that you’re always connected to your prospective customer, and you don’t have to worry about walking into a complete stranger’s house. Your success is based on a proven word-of-mouth approach that we teach you.
What’s my work schedule like?
Your work schedule is entirely up to you. Our sales representatives are able to set their own appointments and determine how many they’ll complete each week. Don’t worry about things like minimum hours or unpredictable calendars, you can set your own schedule week-by-week based on when you’re available to work.
Do I need experience?
Nope. We provide all the training you need to succeed as a sales representative. The initial unpaid training seminar is a two or three-day program led by experienced Solarex professionals. You can participate at a local office or online, whichever works for you. Don’t worry: these sessions are interactive, engaging, and fun. On top of that, we offer optional ongoing training sessions and conferences. We’re always learning.
What are the qualifications?
Applicants need to be at least 18 years old. Not yet 18 yet? You’re welcome to apply if you’re 17 years old and have also graduated from high school. We look for people who are:
However, these attributes alone won’t guarantee a successful Solarex career.
What does it take to be successful?
Successful representatives are committed, positive, and communicate frequently with their local office. This open line of communication is important because our offices are filled with supportive, fun, and experienced people who want to help you succeed at the level you desire.
I’m still not sure…
No problem. The best thing you could do would be to come into one of our open meetings closest to you and meet face-to-face with the manager. Find out more about us to see if we would be a good fit for you. Then, decide if it is right for you. To do that, click the Apply Now button at the top of the page and fill out the short application so you can schedule a time to meet with your local office.
Fun. Challenging. Rewarding. Different.
We Help homeowners in the United States to switch from using regular local power companies to solar panels. For many people who work with us, working here is the first real job they’ve ever had!
Not to worry; take comfort in the fact that our managers are trained to help you from day one. Learning how to effectively communicate an idea is an important skill to develop, regardless of your chosen career. So even if your sales experience is limited to elementary school fundraisers, don’t sweat it.
During initial training, we teach you everything you need to know to get you started on the right foot. By the time you’re done, you will be confident and well-prepared to start working. The skills you will learn and the mindset you will develop will stay with you for your entire life, wherever your path leads you.
What We Do:
We sell and install Solar Panels, the world’s finest solar panels ever made in America for the last four decades, and are guaranteed FOREVER.
How We Work
Our sales representatives meet one-on-one with potential customers through virtual appointments. The sales rep’s job is to show and share the advantages of the Solar panels system, and help those customers find the perfect system that fits their needs. Most people switch to solar, but some don’t. And, that’s okay.
We give our sales reps a guaranteed base pay each time they show and share the advantage of the Solar panels to a qualified potential customer whether the customer buys or not.
There’s a reason why we pay our reps regardless of sales results. We don’t want a sales rep to ever feel pressure to make a sale in any way that’s pushy with a customer. We think Solar Panels is pretty awesome and want customers to buy it because they love it.
How can we pay people even if they don’t make a sale? Frankly, most people see the advantage and the great benefits of the Solar system when they jump on it, so we can afford to create this safety net for our reps. Because our reps are independent contractors, they enjoy real flexibility and control over their own schedules. They set their own appointments based on their availability day-by-day.
Our sales reps pride themselves in providing ridiculously awesome customer service and enjoy representing a truly incredible (and useful) product.
And, it works. Over 10 million homes in North America alone are qualified to have Solar panels on their roofs.
